The Oyster Bay High School Chamber Singers brought the joy of the season to The Learning Tree this morning, performing for an intergenerational audience of preschoolers and seniors.
Under the direction of Ms. Melissa Kozee, the talented ensemble delivered a festive program featuring holiday favorites including Joy to the World, The Dreidel Song, Carol of the Bells, and Little Saint Nick.
The 2- and 3-year-old preschoolers were captivated by the performance and delighted the high school singers by performing a song of their own at the program's conclusion. Seniors from The Life Enrichment Center also attended and enjoyed the musical celebration.
The performance exemplifies the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District's commitment to community engagement and service, bringing together multiple generations through the universal language of music. The Chamber Singers' visit brightened the day for both the youngest and most seasoned members of the community, spreading holiday spirit throughout The Learning Tree.
Thank you to Ms. Kozee and the OBHS Chamber Singers for sharing their talents!
