On Friday, the gymnasium at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School was filled with joy and pride as families and loved ones gathered for the annual first grade spring concert.

Under the direction of music teacher Ms. Brenda Murphy, the students performed a cheerful selection of songs celebrating the season, including “Spread a Little Sunshine,” “Mr. Golden Sun,” and “Best Day of My Life.” Their bright voices and enthusiastic performances brought smiles to every corner of the room.

The concert concluded with a cherished tradition: a heartfelt rendition of the school song. “The School by the Bay,” reminding everyone of the strong sense of community and pride that defines Theodore Roosevelt Elementary.

Earlier this month, kindergarten and second grade students had their turn in the spotlight, performing their spring showcases at Oyster Bay High School on May 5.
