College Planning Timelines
It is never too early to begin planning for college! Educating yourself early on about the important steps you need to take in high school to prepare for college admissions can help you eventually get into your dream college! Click the links below to view timelines for each grade.
College Visits at OBHS
Each year, the Oyster Bay High School Counseling Center hosts visits from college admissions representatives from colleges. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about a school and their programs, ask questions, meet and develop relationships with admissions representatives, and begin to show a "demonstrated interest" in a school.
If a student is interested in attending a scheduled visit, they should see Ms. Vehlies in the Counseling Center to sign up, get a pass to be excused from class, and find out location details. Please listen for details about our college visits during the morning announcements. Details will also be posted here when available.
