Mrs. Kowalsky joined the OBHS faculty in 2024 to lead the business department. Prior to teaching, she worked as a Senior Account Manager and Office Manager for a small boutique marketing agency on Long Island. Although she loved the work she did and the clients she worked with including Unilever, P&G, and the European Union French Cheese Cooperative, she did not feel the corporate world was the right fit for her. She began her teaching career in 2014 within the New York City Public Schools system as a business department of one and helped to grow the program to include three successful NYSED approved CTE pathways. She is excited to join the OBHS community and looks forward to continuing to build a robust and successful business department.
