Janna Ostroff, Ed.D.

Janna Ostroff is the proud Supervisor of Science and Technology and Technology for Instruction for the Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District. Dr. Ostroff feels lucky to be a part of a community that values Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Colgate University, earned her Master’s in both Comparative International Education and Geochemistry from the University of Oxford, UK, and completed the Hunter College educational leadership program. Dr. Ostroff earned a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from St. John's University, studying the Landscape of Personalized Learning in Long Island Schools.   

Dr. Ostroff taught and served as a Science teacher and teacher-leader in New York City before moving to Long Island. Her goal is to inspire our teachers and students to undertake challenges, innovate, and achieve excellence.
