Information and Assistance Opportunities from Local Organizations

Youth and Family Counseling of Oyster Bay-East Norwich continues to maintain a pantry of non-perishable foods for those in need. Due to the virus’ financial hardship on those in the service industry, their pantry is depleted.  They are currently accepting donations in the form of food, Stop and Shop cards or cash to fill their pantry as they continue to provide for those among us who are struggling. Donations can be dropped off at their office at 12 Irving Place. The cross street is South Street. Many thanks in advance to our generous community for your assistance.

Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce COVID-19 page has important information about what is happening in the community.

Legislator Josh Lafazan's Office is looking for volunteers to help shop for senior citizens in the community. Anyone interested in volunteering or knows of a senior citizen who needs assistance should call 516-571-6218.

The North Shore Assembly of God on East Main Street is providing canned goods and gift cards for families in need. Call 516-922-2547 for assistance.
