    OBHS' Legally Blonde Dazzles Audiences

    The energy was electric in Oyster Bay High School's auditorium, March 1-3, as students danced and sang their way through three dazzling performances of Legally Blonde, the Musical.  

    “Everyone put their all into this show,” said K-12 Fine and Performing Arts Supervisor Mr. Anthony Femino, producer of the show. “I congratulate our cast, crew and orchestra, as well as our teachers who led the show with lots of positive energy and compassion, making it a rousing success.”

    See Student Talent at All-County Art Show

    The artistic talent of 15 students from the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District will be on display at the Art Supervisors Association's (ASA) 2019 Nassau All-County Art Exhibition, Sunday, March. 10. The free event takes place at Roosevelt Hall at Farmingdale State College from 12-4 p.m. and honors more than 1,200 students from kindergarten through grade 12 who have demonstrated excellence in a wide variety of two-dimensional visual art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics and photography.

    TR Performs a Readers’ Theater with Heart

    Roosevelt Elementary School 2nd graders in Ms. Christine Rooney’s class put their hearts into a Reader’s Theater presentation featuring the books, Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch by Eileen Spinelli and Roses Are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink, by Diane de Groat.
