Oyster Bay-East Norwich

Kindergarten registration is now open in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District. District residents' children who will be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2026, are eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2026 – 2027 school year. 

Important: Students who are currently enrolled in the State Funded Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten Program at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School do not need to complete a full application, more infomration will be shared in the spring. If a child is enrolled in the district Pre-Kindergarten program and has a current NYS Required Health Examination Form, they do not need another for Kindergarten.

Applications can be found at www.obenschools.org (select DISTRICT and then CENTRAL REGISTRATION), or paper applications can be picked up from the Administration Building at 1 McCouns Lane, Oyster Bay.  

 After completing an application, please contact the District Registrar at 516-624-6555 or registration@obenschools.org to schedule an appointment. Incoming kindergarten students will have an orientation day in the spring.

El Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District acepta solicitudes para kínder. Los hijos de residentes del distrito que hayan cumplido 5 años el o antes del 1 de diciembre de 2026 son elegibles para kínder.

Importante: Los estudiantes que actualmente están inscritos en el Programa de Prejardín de Infantes de Día Completo Financiado por el Estado en la Escuela Primaria Theodore Roosevelt no necesitan completar una solicitud completa, se compartirá más información en la primavera.  Si un niño está matriculado en el programa de preescolar del distrito y cuenta con un formulario de examen médico requerido por el estado de Nueva York, no necesita otro para el jardín de infancia.

Para acceder al paquete de inscripción, favor de visitar www.obenschools.org (seleccionar "DISTRICT" y luego "CENTRAL REGISTRATION") o pueden recoger este mismo paquete directamente en la Oficina de Administración del Distrito, ubicada en 1 McCouns Lane, Oyster Bay.

Al completar la solicitud, favor de ponerse en contacto con la Funcionaria del Distrito llamando al 516.624.6555 o enviando un correo electrónico a registration@obenschools.org. Habrá un día de orientación para los estudiantes de kínder en la primavera.
