Home Instruction Information
If you are interested in beginning the Home Instruction (home schooling) process for your child(ren):
- File your letter of intention to homeschool with the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central District within 14 days of transferring your child from their current school (or anytime, if your child is not currently enrolled in a school) by emailing it to homeschool@obenschools.org or by mail to 1 McCouns Lane, Oyster Bay, New York 11771.

Parents of compulsory school age children have the legal right to instruct their children at home. If a child is being educated at home, the local school district must be assured that the child is receiving instruction in certain required courses/subjects.
