Forms Offerings Philosophy Tryout Guidelines Oyster Bay High School enjoys one of the oldest and most diversified athletic programs on Long Island. Rich in pride and spirit, Oyster Bay has been competing interscholastically since the fall of 1928 when the current high school opened.
Although small in population, Oyster Bay enjoys an excellent athletic reputation. The athletic department sponsors 34 Varsity and JV teams and 18 middle school teams for students in grades 7-12. We are proud to announce that Middle School Boys Lacrosse has been added to our athletic program beginning with the Spring 2008 season. An extensive intramural program is available at both the Vernon School and at the High School throughout the school year. OYSTER BAY ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME The next induction ceremony of the Oyster Bay High School Athletic Hall of Fame took place on Saturday, October 20th, 2007 in the gymnasium. Thirty-one exceptional athletes and coaches from Oyster Bays proud athletic history were enshrined that morning. 2007 Oyster Bay Athletic Hall Of Fame Inductees 1936 John Agostinello 1949 George D.
