OBEN's summer sports camps thrive in their 22nd year

For 22 years, the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District's Summer Sports Camp, proudly sponsored by the Athletic Department and the Oyster Bay Athletic Booster Club, has been a highlight of summer break. The sessions kick off at the end of June and run until the middle of August.
The camps encompass a variety of sports, offered in week-long sessions throughout the summer. Students can choose sessions that interest them, allowing them to experience a new sport every week. Some of the offerings include fencing, baseball, cheerleading, lacrosse and the popular multi-sport camp, which brings a new set of games, challenges and team-building activities to the students each day.
Coordinated by Jen Iles and Elaine Ranaldo, the full Summer Sports Program continues to offer Oyster Bay students affordable, high-quality instruction across a wide range of sports and activities. Beyond learning new skills and staying active, campers get to meet and work with many of the Varsity and Junior Varsity coaches they may one day play for, building lasting connections from a young age. With another successful summer underway, OBEN's Summer Sports Camp remains a cherished tradition for students across the district.
