The mission of the technology department of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District is to empower all teachers and students with the opportunity and resources to sucees in a rapidly evolving society. Technology is optimally and responsibly used to egage, personalize, and redefine student learning.

 

Computer Science & Technology

Our K-12 Technology & Computer Science program is fully aligned with the NYS Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards. Using these standards, we focus our curriculum on 4 key components:

  1. Digital Literacy: The ability to use and understand technology, and be able to navigate the digital world effectively.
  2. Digital Citizenship: The responsible, safe, and appropriate using of technology.
  3. Coding: Designing and writing computer programs and instructions.
  4. Robotics/Engineering: The design, construction, and operation of robotos.
