Oyster Bay-East Norwich welcomes Dawn Wang as Director of Special Services

The Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District is pleased to welcome Dawn Wang as its new Director of Special Services. In this role, Ms. Wang will oversee programs, services and resources for students with disabilities and diverse learning needs across the district.
Ms. Wang brings nearly 20 years of experience in special education, along with a strong commitment to creating opportunities for students of all abilities. She joins Oyster Bay-East Norwich after serving for the past two years as Director of Pupil Services in the Levittown School District. Previously, she spent five years as Assistant Director of Special Education and 12 years as Special Education Chairperson at MacArthur High School.
Ms. Wang holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Technology from Adelphi University, as well as a Master of Science in Special Education and bachelor's degrees in psychology and political science from Hofstra University.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wang has focused on expanding opportunities for students with disabilities and ensuring they have the individualized resources and services they need to succeed. As Director of Special Services, she looks forward to working with students, families, faculty and staff to help every student reach their full potential.
