Cavalcade of Choirs Rehearsal Brings Grades 5–12 Together Ahead of Wednesday's Performance

The musical energy in the OBHS Auditorium was electric yesterday as we kicked off Day 3 of our Music Buddy Day series with our incredible Cavalcade of Choirs joint rehearsal! 

From Grades 5-12, our voices came together in a powerful display of community and talent. Here’s a look at what went down:

  • The Ultimate Warm-Up: We started strong in the OBHS chorus room with combined warm-ups led by Mr. Lou and Ms. Kozee.
  • Stage Presence: Students practiced their transitions and formations, ensuring everyone looks as sharp as they sound.
  • Peer Support: The best part of the morning? Hearing our ensembles listen to each other’s pieces. The room was filled with cheers, applause, and genuine support between the Grade 5-6 Chorus, ML Chorus, and the OBHS Chamber Singers.
  • The Big Finale: We wrapped up by rehearsing our massive finale piece—you won’t want to miss the sound of all these voices combined!
