Speaking at the ceremony, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Francesco Ianni noted the growth in the Kids of Distinction program since its inception in 2019 when five students from the district were proudly recognized. “Today, I am proud to say that 19 of our students, from Kindergarten to grade 12, have been selected as Kids of Distinction. In a district as small as ours, 19 is a big number and makes this achievement even more special. I want to thank Legislator Lafazan for providing this platform to recognize the talents and character of our students, and congratulate all of our winners for being shining examples of excellence.”
