Alexandria Muller grew up in Northport, and had a passion for music since she was young. She started taking Piano lessons at a young age, and then later started playing the French Horn, continuing all through her grade school career. She was part of the Northport High school marching band, serving as a rank leader and section leader for her junior and senior years. Her love of music was nurtured by the amazing teachers she had in the Northport school district, inspiring Ms. Muller's decision to choose music education as a career.

Alexandria graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Music Education from Five Towns College in 2015, with a concentration in French Horn. After graduation Ms. Muller started teaching for the Paul Effman Music Service, as a Band, Orchestra, and General Music teacher, teaching grades K-8, at various Private & Catholic schools throughout Long Island and NYC.

In 2018 Alexandria joined the OBEN staff as a resident substitute, working at OBHS. In 2020, Alexandria served as a General Music teacher in the Seaford school district teaching music to grades K-5. Later in the school year, Ms. Muller returned to Oyster Bay to fill in as the Orchestra director at Vernon Elementary and the Chorus and General Music teacher at the Middle School for the remainder of the 2021 school year.

Alexandria is currently attending Long Island University Post for her masters degree in Music Performance with a concentration in French Horn and conducting, where she studies under the tutelage of Dr. Jeanine Nagao and Dr. James McRoy.

In her free time Alexandia enjoys performing original music with her rock band The Ally Dogs. She also enjoys performing in various orchestras, concert bands, pit orchestras and musical ensembles throughout Long Island. Ms. Muller can also be found writing songs and stories, reading a good book, or starting a fun craft to fill her free time.

Ms. Muller is very excited to be back at Oyster Bay East Norwich for the 2021-2022 school district teaching Music and Orchestra! She can't wait to share her knowledge and love for music with her new students, and help nurture their understanding and appreciation of music.
