Fencing Sets Milestones
Oyster Bay High School sophomore Rachel Kowalsky made the All-Long Island Fencing Team for Women’s Epee, an honor that was the pinnacle of a shining season for the Girls Varsity Fencing Team.
OBHS Presents Legally Blonde, March 1-3
Oyster Bay High School’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts presents Legally Blonde, Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. Ticket purchases and seat reservations can be made at LEGALLY BLONDE TICKETS. Tickets may also be purchased at the door with cash or check payable to: Oyster Bay-East Norwich Extra Curricular Activities Fund.
Based on the novel, Legally Blonde, by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film, the musical takes the audience through a pink cyclone as star Delta Nu sorority sister Elle Woods takes Harvard University by storm. In pursuit of a marriage proposal from Warner Huntington III, she charms her way into the Ivy League only to be faced with ridicule by her peers. But, with some sass and a little help from her friends and professors, she realizes her true potential and sets out to prove herself in the world.
